Celebrities and Fashion Pakistan Week 2015
The organizing body of the Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW) recently declared the schedule of shows lined up and the rundown of participating fashion designers. The Winter/Festive 2015 will be held from November 28-30 in the city of lights, Karachi.
The night is expected to be star studded as celebrities from all over the country are flying to Karachi to show their presence. The red carpet is surely going to be super loaded with glitz and glam. Obviously, the grand event has limited passes and so to make things easier for you, we will be carrying out live Snapchat/Instagram feed from the red carpet to keep you all posted with what happens at FPW 2015.
“This year, FPW Winter/Festive has grown bigger, in terms of design philosophy, to incorporate winter festivities such as weddings, balls, and parties. We want to demonstrate the latest trends and innovation across the broad spectrum of fashion in Pakistan. FP is committed to developing fashion as an industry and will continue to highlight its growth and success”, said the council chairperson of Fashion Pakistan, Sanam Chaudhri.
Established in 2010, these biannual fashion weeks have been a huge support to the country’s fashion industry. The FPW this time is expected to showcase all different sorts of Pakistani bubbly wear, running from indulgence prêt, to bridals and formal wear.
The runway of the Fashion Pakistan Week 2015 will stage the style statement of several fashion designers, who will showcase their collections at the three-day occasion.
Showcasing this year are Shehla Chatoor, Toni&Guy Trend Show (including Sania Makatiya and Deepak Perwani), Ayesha Hashwani, Tena Durrani, Hisham Malik, Sana Safinaz, Wardha Saleem, Maheen Karim, Obaid Sheik, Elan, Nida Azwer, FnkAsia, Deepak Perwani, Umer Sayeed, Zaheer Abbas, Delphi by Nida Tapal, Zainab Chottani, Faraz Manan and Nauman Arfeen. The show stopper of the event this year will be the gorgeous Nilofer Shahid.
Nilofer has never been a part of the FPW, so her appearance is expected to dazzle all.
Pakistani models have an aura that is one of a kind. Be it Sadaf Kanwal or Sabeeka Imam, Nadia Hussain or Fouzia Aman, they take seconds to set the ramp on fire with their looks and their perfect catwalks.
We spoke to celebrities about the fashion week and this is what they had to say:
NADIA HUSSAIN KHAN
“After the birth of my fourth baby, this is the first FPW I’m doing! So I’m surely super excited about my comeback. I plan on wearing clothes from my own collection for the red carpet.”

“I am very excited about the FPW. I am looking forward to be the biggest Fashion Diva Maheen Khan’s show stopper. It is very unlike Maheen Aunty to have a show stopper so I was thrilled when she asked me for it. Without a second thought I said yes! For the three days, I will be wearing Maheen Khan, Deepak Perwani and Amna Aqeel.”

The occasion will be overseen by CKO Events Architecture, and backstage will be taken care of by Production 021. SABS will serve as the official styling partner for the occasion. Like always, the show direction and choreography stays with Frieha Altaf of Catwalk Event Management and Productions.
I look forward to a great night. I hope it happens as planned and give Pakistani Fashion a new look and feel. I am totally pumped up for the FPW.
