7. Apply Shampoo Carefully

Too much shampoo can damage your hair. Avoid shampoos that contain sulfate and paraben.  The number of times you should shampoo your hair depends on your hair texture. People, who often complain about oily hair texture, feel the need to shampoo daily. They can opt for a mild shampoo and skip a day or two. Instead of shampooing daily, dust powder on your scalp to make the oil less visible. Wash your hair with cold water, because hot water strips away protective oils from your scalp.

8. Healthy Diet

To get the maximum results from these home remedies for split ends, focus on a healthy diet. If you are unable to reach your target hair length and hair texture, you are probably not taking proper diet. Make sure your diet is rich in vitamins, omega 3 fatty acids and protein. Eat fruits, vegetable, nuts and a lot of fish. Vitamin E, present in seeds and nuts, is the key ingredient to get you the hair that you desire.

No more bad hair days!
