5 Ingredients to Heal Your Acne Naturally
Acne is one of the most common skin conditions plaguing both females and males globally. 1. Apple Cider Vinegar
This is amazing for everything from treating hair loss to weight loss. Apple cider vinegar is a much diluted form of acid that has antibacterial properties which can inhibit bacterial growth within the pores. By virtue of its acidic property, it can decrease excessive oil or sebum production by the glands in the skin. Use a cotton ball to apply it to your face, especially those problem areas, before sleeping and after a day out in the heat and dust.
2. Tomatoes and Cucumbers
Easily available at home, these two things are the Holy Grail for a clear, glowing and younger looking skin. Mix one part tomato juice and one part cucumber juice and apply over the face once a day to prevent breakouts. You can also directly rub a stubborn pimple or a problem area on your face with a tomato slice and see it improve right before your eyes.
3. Oil Cleansing
Many of you might be wondering why I would suggest this, as oil is one of the causative agents for acne. It is, however true that by using anti bacterial oils, just as jojoba or vitamin E oil, you actually regulate sebum production. They also help clean out dust, dirt and bacteria from the pores and cleanse your skin.
4. Yoghurt and Honey Mask
Fresh yoghurt has a drying tendency which along with its antimicrobial properties can help shrink pores. Whereas, honey can cleanse the skin whilst keeping it moisturized and hydrated. To make an easy to use mask, mix one tablespoon of honey with one tablespoon of yoghurt and apply to the skin for 15 minutes before rinsing.
5. Sea Salt
This is a great natural exfoliant for the skin. Acne treatment requires gentle exfoliation to get rid of dead cells and other things accumulated over the skin and make it difficult for the skin to breath. Take some sea salt and gently massage over your face and neck using the pads of your fingers. This will leave your skin soft and supple.
